we will be seeing a lot of max...hopefully the guys will play to their potential for a full 60 minutes for him.
as far as the huet trade goes...it makes no sense at all. MTL traded their only real NHL caliber goalie, and they let him go for a draft pick no less. even barry melrose said it was nuts..... |

When did this happen? Recently?
And I know for sure that Lansdowne is traveling with the team to Cali so he is probably the back up goalie right now. |

| Everyone who follows Montreal knew trading Huet was going to happen at some point. They have Carey Price waiting in the wings to become the next Patrick Roy. I am somewhat shocked that they traded Huet now though. I was figuring on this happening next season once Price gets a year of NHL experience under his belt. Huet is a ufa after this season and he could've walked away and Montreal would've gotten nothing for him. They've decided to turn things over to a 20 year old kid when they have a legitimate shot at a division, conference, and Stanley Cup championship. Hopefully he's ready because if he isn't there is now no veteran to turn to for help. |

| I believe that the UFA deal had a lot to do with the trade. They're looking ahead on this one for sure. |
