| It has nothing to do with a majority. That's simply not how the media works. "Cincinnati Cyclones Defeat Elmira 3-2" simply won't cut it in this market, but "Fans Band Together to Help Cyclones as they Struggle With Attendance" is certainly newsworthy. |

I obviously agree... and I mean isn't everyone complaining about not having coverage? Why would it not be worth a shot? I guess to some people the glass is always half empty, and they're not worried about working on filling it. |

| So I need copies of these flyers just to hand out at school if that's legal, because I about flipped out today. I was in the elevator going to class and I was wearing one of my new Cyclones shirts from Meijer and this guy, no joke, goes "What's a Cyclone?" I was like, "The Cincinnati Cyclones hockey team." And he goes, "Oh. What highschool are they?" I was thinking ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME?! I was like "It's the ECHL, which is 2 steps below the NHL. They're not a school league. They play at US Bank Arena." He was like, "CINCINNATI HAS A HOCKEY TEAM?!" Seriously like he had never heard of such a thing. I am amazed, just amazed. |
