I figured, I wasn't there so I didn't wanna pull out the whole Dayton sucks and they lie deal.
Anyway, it sucks we couldn't get a win up there, but we got the point which is good enough for me. |

| who cares? that's there problem. it's gonna either show in the playoffs or hurt them in the playoffs when they have to pay the league for all the people they say where there. |

| From what others were telling me last night, the owner of the Bummers has MANY outstanding bills to pay, including payment for the bus trip they just took to Carolina. They also told me they cannot find any equipment. Douschbag busted all his sticks the other night after a game and someone from Philly had to send him some overnight. He didn't need a stick last night anyway as we put all but three shots into the logo on his chest. |

Sunday's actual attendance was very likely in the 2000-2300 range by my estimate. The Bummer's exagerrate their attendance by about 70-75% on average. If they have 2000, they'd announce 2000 plus 75% of 2000(1500)= 3500.
It's fairly standard practice for many teams -exagerration, not necessarily the percentage the bummers customarily seem to use. The motivation is to create an illusion of popularity which teams believe help with a)media coverage b) the ability to sell and maintain corporate sponsorships c)public perception of the team-if attendance is high then "what am I missing" bandwagon effect.
The Cyclones are just an exception to it. |

This attendance topic is always a waste of time Dayton inflates there attendance yes we do - I an a ST and for the weekend here are my estimates Announced friday - 5954 butts in seats probably 4500 Announced saturday - 7965 butts in seats proably 6500 and Sunday announced 3902 butts in seats 2800. DO Dayton fans always fall back on Cinti's attendance yes is your seat counting more accurate yes but you need more fans in those seats to make the team economically viable. So the conversation goes something like this:
Dayton - Cinti sucks
Cinti - dayton sucks
Dayton - yeah we at least we avg 35000 fans per game
Cinti - yeah but you guys lie... and you still suck we lead the division
dayton - we kicked your but last year in the playoffs after being down 3-1
Cinti - yeah but we won the Cricket cup again
Dayton - your attendance sucks US Bank bank arena
Cinti - scoreboard
So there you have it another great debate among CInti/dayton hockey fans

I think it is funny that Dayton says it no big deal loseing the Cricket Cup two years in a row, BUT if it was dayton who won it their fans would be like yessss we won the Cricket Cup and the Clones didn't .
