I didn't see that much but there was some jawing going on between fans of the two teams. After the game ended I heard somebody behind me yell bring it on. I looked back to see who was yelling and about that time a couple of Dayton fans apparently ran past me and they started getting into it at the other end of our row. The off ice official immediately jumped in between the 2 groups and I saw security people running to join the action. I just shook my head and directed my wife up the stairs on our end of the row. I don't think there was anything other then words but I could be wrong.
I enjoy some trash talking etc but when it is all said and done we are talking about a game. It is not worth seriously arguing over and it is certainly not worth getting into violence.
On the subject of the Dayton game....someone told me that there was some incidents after the game between the bummer fans and our fans. Does anybody have any input?
By the time I saw anything going on people were already starting to head back. Haven't seen a good crowd fight in a while.
When the game ended, some sore loser Clone fan in front of me couldn't take the Bummer fans celebrating, so he started flipping them off and telling them to "bring it on" and "meet me outside". A few Bummer fans (6 or 8) ran right up to him. Tim (off ice official in Cincy) and myself told the Bummer fans (Jericho's buddies and people I know) to go celebrate the win and go home, while telling the Clone fan how classless the act was. It was flat out STUPID!!!
