I'm all for playing Dayton. I just see no way of us losing to them. They're averaging less than 2 goals per game over their last 10 or so games. Without Tifu, they are just severely offensively challenged. Even with him, they're no great shakes.
Johnstown is beginning to play very well lately. Sgroi is back and has 5 goals in 2 games. He and many of their forwards are big. Johnstown can play a very effective physical game against us. We did go 8-1-1 against them, but they won the last 2 and the previous 2 could have gone either way. They also could be receiving some players back soon-Garlock being the most important. I think we'll beat them, but it won't be a walkover like Dayton would almost certainly be.
Also, Dayton's closer. Less travel. It also would be nice to knock the bummers out for revenge purposes.
Who would you guys like to see? |

| I like our chances against Dayton more than our chances against Johnstown. J-town has been kinda hot lately. |

| I'd rather not play Dayton. Post traumatic stress syndrome from last year maybe? :) |

We have no skaters???
If we could get Beaudoin back from the AHL, and we just got Peter Pohl back so there would be some good offense. What Dayton needs is to learn how to pass the damn puck.
See you guys tonight |

I'm up in the air on this topic. J-town has been playing well, but for some reason, Dayton always plays us well no matter who is on the ice for them. |

| It really doesn't matter to me who we play....just as long as we get some of our players from Hamilton and Milwaukee back. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'm sure they will be on the PO roster, but I'm hoping we get them back IN TIME for the beginning of our PO games. |

| I would rather play Johnstown. Dayton always seems to get fired up against us. But then again I would love to see us knock them out of the playoffs. |

There was a very hard hit near center ice. Ferazzoli went down hard and did not move for several minutes. Starling, apparently thinking it was a cheap shot, became involved with Dougherty ( who was not the one who hit him). I didn't see the hit clearly, so I can't say exactly what happened. A couple of us went over to see if he was going to be okay. The other guy yelled something at Dougherty who was in the penalty box. Dayton fans took exception to that (as we would if the situation were reversed). The problem is that a couple of the "baser" fans threatened him. Security intervened and took him back and up to the concourse while others kept the 2 Dayton fans from doing anything. Probably not the smartest thing to do-to go over and shout something at the opposing player, especially while you have your son in your arms, but I'm pretty sure it was spur of the moment and not planned.
At any rate after about 15 minutes, they placed Ferazzoli on a stretcher. He was able to give a double thumbs up as he left. He apparently was treated at Miami Valley Hosp and released.
Most of the Dayton fans were fine, just a few who still have a climb to reach the top of the evolutionary ladder. Just like we have. |
