Tonights game was far closer than it needed to be, how's our player? didn't hear who it was. Saw the game on b2 network tonight, It appears that dyaton had a fair amount of attendance problems tonight, I also don't want to hear it from the Dayton fans about what type of fans attend clones games because I saw my fair share of camo hats and jackets and plenty of goatees, it appeared as though tickets were sent out to...well a couple of country trailer.....err parks. lastly, I'm not that interested in taking significant injuries on games that mean little

It was Chris Ferazzoli. Looked like he got a stinger, or perhaps a concussion. He was pretty much motionless for several minutes, but all 4 limbs were moving and he gave two thumbs up on the way out on the stretcher. Hope he's okay.

Man! That was a massive hit. I hope Ferazzoli is OK after that.

Hope to hear something on his status soon. Always worries me when guys go down like that. He literally hit the ice and did not move an inch for awhile, but glad to see the thumbs up on his way out!

Dayton newspaper said that he was "treated and released" from a local hospital.

I hope it was a clean hit. I was there but didn't see it. Even if it was, good for Starling. He went right after the guy.

He was a clean hit no slew-footing (GD SUHY) I never want to see a guy get hurt. Glad to hear that he is ok. Refs got to Starling quick, because Dougherty was lurking around could have broke out into something ugly.

All in all we should play you guys every game, our guys play their hearts out when its you, but anyone else, well just look at the scores.

I hope everyone realizes it wasn't Dougherty he threw the hit on 16, it was Grundmanis.

And in typical Starling fashion, once he gets called out by Dougherty later in the game, off to the bench he goes, with his tail between his legs.

Lets face it Dougherty this season has set the standard, and I can't blame anyone for not wanting to throw down.

Isn't it funny how these "clean hits" seem to be against the smallest players.I wasn't
there and I wasn't at Wheeling, but now Chris and Billy are layed up by hits in games
that really don't mean anything in the standings. Yes this is hockey and yes you have
to take a hit to play the game, but all this makes the addition of a goon to clean some
clocks and send the message that "we ain't taking this anymore" closer to reality.

I agree with bags. My wife and I have talked about it and have noticed that teams seem to be throwing more cheap shots at the clones since we traded away one enforcer and then jimmy gets hurt. If the refs call it fair, it should be okay, but how often do the refs call it fair. Are there any options at the AHL level that the Cyclones might get for the playoffs? I think it would make a huge difference.

That's good news- it was pretty scary for awhile. BTW, what is a "sick" concussion?

I was watching on b2, clean hit? maybe someone can help me with the rules, It appeared that ferrizoli hadn't recieve the pass. had he had the puck I would have thought the hit was clean, but without the puck didn't the check prevent him from recieving the puck therefore almost an interference call? if it sounds stupid i'm all ears. earlier in the game virtually the same thing happend, the puck was above everyones head, one of our players was waiting for the puck, looking up at the puck but before the puck either was caught by our guy or let fall to the ice, a dayton player pretty much decked him, can that be called interference, not that it really matters because every damn echl official, it seems like both teams needs to relearn certain rules, they call it...they don't
