| My wife just called me from work...she told me I laid it on a little thick just now, It's never my intentions to pick a fight with fellow Cyclone fans, after our last home game with Johnstown, she and I just looked at one another and simply said " I don't think that anyone can beat us right now" I saw the effort put forth last night and we got the "B" team. unfinished checks, off passes, lack of awareness on the ice, You give a team like the Nailers the opportunity that "WE" gave Reading, and even the Nailers would have beaten us. it was truly from my perspective a poor and disappointing game....I still contend that if the real cyclones team shows up, there is not a team in the league that I fear |

| its a best of 7. we lost one game.... there are 6 more left. if anyone thought we were going to go 16 and 0 in the playoffs then you are very badly mistaken. jumping on everyones back after one loss is not and will never help anyone |

A few things to keep in mind:
1) Our goalie stopped only 20 of 25 shots. That won't get it done and it probably won't happen again.
2) The Clones have only lost 2 in a row 3 times this season. Only once did they lose 3 out of 4.
3) It was an away game. Generally a split on the road is considered getting the job done. We can accomplish this on Saturday.
4) We came very close to coming back from a 4-1 3rd period deficit. After a rusty 30 minutes or so, the Clones caught their stride and were the better team.
5) We gave up 2 shorthanded goals. Very unlikely to be repeated.
Clones in 5, perhaps 6 now. |

Nothing wrong with a good rant. If the guys took Reading lightly, then the wake up alarm has been sounded. It's hard not to be overconfident when you've only lost 12 games in regulation all season and are 8-1-1 vs. someone.
I still haven't decided whether I want to see South Carolina or Columbia in the next round. I am allowed to be overconfident-I'm not playing! |

Listening to the broadcast, it sounds like the Reading fans behind the bench started being a little low-class towards the players both celebrating and throwing things at us. First off- THANK YOU FANS !! If ever there would be something to remind our players to play, over celebration in game 1 by the fans should do the trick. The hype dished out to our team-I would probably feel like celebrating a win too. However,NOTHING calls for trash to be thrown on our players like the announcer described. The good part about Elmo, our ten game layoff started with a road game and not a wasted home night. I think Saturday will be business as usual. |

Couldn't have said it better, bags.
Saturday's game will take different shape with a re-energized and focused 'Clones team. |

You're correct in saying that we SHOULDN'T lose to any of these teams... I've said that even most of the regular season. Through everything, we have the ABILITY to knock all of these teams down, but we can get too cocky or not play up to that ability and lose... and like I said, repeating last night is what I'm afraid of. There's really no reason that we shouldn't win against any of these teams... we have the record to prove we are better than them all, but losses can happen. If it was POSITIVE that we were NOT going to lose to ANY team they would've just handed us the Kelly Cup weeks ago and saved everyones time. |

| one thing to keep in mind is that the regular season is just that, the regular season. as soon as the playoffs start everything resents. just because we won the league regular season does not mean we'll will win the division or the conference, let alone the kelly cup. how many times has detroit won the presidents cup but been bounced out of the stanley cup playoffs early.throughout the regular season, especially during the win streak, the team had a target on its back. that target has increased in size 10 fold in the post season. do i think we should beat reading? yes, but the bottom line is the boys need to play every minute of every period, every second of every shift. thursday night we got a taste of what happens when we don't. |

Just like the team on Thursday, many of us fans here also got a "wake-up" call with the loss to Reading. It's been a great year but unlike last year when no-one expected us to do anything, the shoe is on the other foot this year. That is why I vote for the coach going back to what got us here-a rotation of goalies throughout the playoffs.Right now I would like Cedrick in games 2,3,5,and 7 and Max in games 4 & 6, then next round(cross your fingers) have the next in line go 1,3,5,7 and the other 2,4,6. If someone has a let down, they can always be skipped but we need fresh goalies for these games. Sorry Texas fans for your loss because we all wanted the semi matchup of Cincinnati vs Texas and old coach against current coach. Maybe we can use your loss to keep us focused on winning. -Here's a dollar, that and my opinion will get you a PBR on beer night!- |

| YEP! HE IS! For those of you that may have missed it, during Hamel's interview with Chuck played during intermission he said that we had JM back for tonight, and after this they would "re-evaluate things" and see where he stood between both teams. Then during 2nd intermission they played Hamel's interview with JM where JM then said that he was going back to WBS tonight to pack his things and flying back here Sunday night! I'm so shocked (but a good shocked) to see JM back in uniform with us!! It can only mean good things :) |

| I hope he plays better than tonight. Even the Reading announcers were saying he just looked like he was going thru the motions. |
