Even without Chad, we shined our stuff tonight.... great rally, great finish, great win! I got there late and sat with my girlfriend on the other end of the arena.... I couldnt get close to the folks I know on 60... sorry, Oscar, Junior, Puckhead.... we have too much of a following dammit!
NOW I want two wins in S.C now! The Countdown is at six! I want it at four by the time we get back! |

| Simply AWESOME!! How we can watch a game for 40 minutes, then turn it on for 25 blows my mind. Glad they don't play till Wednesday, I have no more fingernails left!! |

| I wouldn't exactly say we shined our stuff tonight...outside of the last 25 minutes of the game (including the overtime) we looked GOD AWEFUL!! I'm suprised they were only down 3 after 2....if they manage to get outta this series and play like that against a western conference team, it;ll be a double digit blowout :( the boys need to learn how to play for 60 minutes |

I have to agree...the first 40 minutes was "HARD TO WATCH". While I think Ceddy had a rough game tonight, I don't think that the whole goal situation can be blamed on him. Reality was that the DEFENSE was TERRIBLE early on. I'm glad they were able to turn it on in the 3rd Period and create a 4th QUARTER :)
If the Clones go to SC and play the next two games like they did the last 25 minutes, we should be seeing UTAH or VEGAS very soon...> I KNOW DON'T COUNT THE CHICKENS...1...2... 2 more wins in this round...then 4 more to go!

Let's just keep behind our boys. I'm trying to make my way down to SC on Friday and hopefully we can see the boys really pull out the stops and get SC on the road.
Anyway, as hard as it was to watch Ceddy get taken out, I say Max gets the next start, he seemed pretty solid the time he was in there. I say let him take the next start and see what happens from there. SC might be starting their other goalie after the last 2 games, so it would be cool. |

| it's been the same way all year. the scary part of it, if you're south carolina, is the cyclones got out skated and out played for 40 minutes and then won in the last 25, coming back from 3 down and then 1 down. don't get me wrong SC is a good team, they have to be to have gotten this far, but they just got beat be a team that didn't seem interested in playing hockey until the 3rd period. the scary part for us...if we take this experience and interpret it as "we can dick around for 40 minutes and then flip a switch and get back in the game" if we play 360 consecutive minutes of good hard hockey, there is no reason to think we won't be bringing some hardware home come early june...... |

What an AMAZING hockey experience!!!! To come back from 3 zip and then from 4-3 with a few minutes left was unreal. I don't believe that I've heard a crowd that loud for a long, long time. When they tied it up at 3, it felt like the roof was going to blow off.
I didn't give us a chance after the first two periods. I just thought that we were flat- nothing awful-that's all. The guys had faced two elimination games vs. Reading and then the outstanding effort on Friday night. They earned the right to be a bit 'off' for a game. But to be able to come back like they did shows their character. This team has definitively shown me that they have the guts to be a Championship Team. Beating a pretty good Reading team while in the midst of an awful slump and coming back against a team which had outplayed them for 40 minutes is a clear and indisputable indication of a team with the ability to overcome adversity.

| On the topic of waiting outside for players to come out, I was there Friday night waiting for autographs and felt that the way the two teams come out into both, Stingray fans and Clones fans as well as players that this was asking for trouble. I felt Friday night after dollar beers that something was going to go down because folks were exiting from the parking garage and yelling at the Stingrays getting on their bus. Years ago the Clones came out from level 2 and exited through the security checkpoint, this seperated the two exiting teams from on another and the fans for that matter. I'm sorry to hear that there was trouble |

| Someone hit the truck with a bottle. The truck stopped. the lady from the truck ran over and hit the stingray lady both was pulling hair. the player came running off the bus and was yelling to stop the truck. the cops and USBA staff came out got it under control. I have been standing outside for along time now after games and this is the 1st time there was a fight. There have been times when a lot of yelling went on but no one threw down like tonight. I just hope this don't screw thing up for the Die hard fans that have been standing outside win or lose in cold ass weather rain sleet and snow, just B/C someone wants to be a kid and fight someone over something this stupid. Yes I would be mad if my car got hit but you have to go about it a different way ask 1st then if you need to call the cops and have them handle it. I don't think the truck was damage any from the water bottle. I just know the lady from the truck is lucky she isn't in jail right now B/C she knocked the other lady's glass off her face. So I hope all the Clones fans that go to SC have a safe trip and don't get in any fight. You know they are going to hear about it and they might want to start some ****. so everyone be careful please. see you when you get back. |

| That's pretty much what happened. The guy and girl in the truck drove by and yelled something at the sc bus/players and then someone from the team I guess took offense and threw a plastic water bottle and hit the passenger side door. Guy stopped the truck and got out then one of the sc players met him in the street and pushed him really hard against his truck. A lady with the sc team went out to try to stop the fight and then the lady from the truck grabbed her and started pulling her hair and punching her on the top of the head and ripped her glasses off. After that, a man associated with the sc team then said "lets hurry and load up and get outta here. these arrogant fans have no class". I think the people in the truck were bandwagoners. The guy was wearing a philadelphia flyers jersey and the woman was wearing a red shirt. The best part of it to me was someone yelling "Go Penguins" at the guy with the flyers jersey on. It was definetely pretty funny and weird to say the least. |

I didn't think we played "horrible" in the first two periods, it was more of just the evenly-matched game which I expected rather than the blowout last night. SC definitely had the upperhand, though two of the goals were borderline-flukes.
Weber must have put that stuff from Space Jam in their water bottles during the second intermission. I can still barely believe the comeback and not to mention, after the refs award the Stingrays a 5-on-3 with 5 f'ing minutes left in the game and gain back the lead, DD buries the tieing goal after we pull the goalie. That rarely happens EVER and for it to happen tonight just felt like pure amazement.
I was just thinking about the recent San Jose-Dallas 4-OT game wondering if we had a chance of being at the Arena that long when Beauregard thankfully interrupted my thoughts. Amazing game and one of the most exciting in Cyclones history, easily.
We did what we needed to which is put these guys down 2-0 early at USBA, as they are now 0-8 total away from their home barn in the playoffs. We proved last series that we can go into another building and play just as well.
Here's to being up 2-0 and a 3rd day of front page coverage ...  |

First off, I was not down where the players came out after the game but I heard the truck that was hit was a Stingrays fan. SO they were all fighting with themselfs not with Cyclones fans. Again I heard this 2nd hand so anyone that can clear this us?
2nd off, tonights game was clearly one of the better ones Ive seen for a while. Great comeback. SC had a long time to think about this game on the bus trip back.
Happy Mothers day to all the Mothers out there today. You too HFH, know you been called a Mother ....... before hahaha :)
