I thought that was you...... I am the fan who came up to you before the game started and welcomed you to the city. The next time you are up here look me up.... we sit in section 108 row r or just email me. BTW, looked for you at the tail-gate but didn't see you. Just wanted you to meet the Cyclones greatest fans. We will try to make the tail-gate on Saturday but we will be arriving shortly before the game starts. I know I told you we were not going but the family had a change of heart.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ZINGER!!!!!

This is an awful incident, I don't condone any of it, however I would believe that a little drive by heckling void of vulgarity, Don't know wasn't there, toward the Stingray bus shouldn't have ilicited a bottle throwing incident plastic or not either. They did just blow a 3 goal lead! As far as players pushing folks down, grown women pulling hair in the streets that's awful. I've stopped going to away games, even dayton, I have a hard time with heckling, even though my "throwing down" days are long past it still makes my blood boil. I thought friday nights game on mering way was fairly wild, alot of cars driving by the Stingray Bus yelling out windows and honking their horns. Alot of those folks got alot of wicked stares their way as well

I am sorry about what happened to you raysfan34. As people have been saying most of us are not like that. The true diehard fans understand respecting visiting teams and their fans. Heckling and yelling at each other during the game is one thing, but nothing that happens should ever lead to a fight. Like I said last year when we lost to Dayton and their fans were cursing us, its just a game and there's much worse things in the world to worry about and be upset about.

On the subject of the sc fan in sec. 114, I believe he did yell at our fans first. I sit in row h in 114, and people were saying that he started the yelling. Either way you've gotta expect some heckling back and forth when your a visiting fan.

GO HABS GO!!!

I'd just like to add to the list of people offering apologies to you regarding the unacceptable behavior of so-called "fans." It's almost always nice to meet people who make the trip from other cities. Almost all of us are just standing on different sides of the same fence..

I hope we win 2 of 3 down there and don'tsee you again this year , but maybe playoffs next year (when I hope they'll be better security down by the buses). Anyway, sorry for the idiots.

Like I said before, I have been standing outside and talking to the players for years and this is the 1st time anything like this has happened. I'm sorry this happened and I hope it don't ruin it for the fans that have been standing out there for years just b/c a few bandwagon clones fans want to act like kids and start trouble. I hope you are OK RaysFan and good luck the rest of the playoffs.

It is a shame that you cannot go to other arenas to chant for your team to find the home team "fan" to be such a pain. I know in Dayton.. a Cyclone fan and a Dayton fan got into it and it was between two fans and the authorities got it under control and other Dayton fans started mouthing off to the Cyclones fan. That's horrible. Just let it go and start watching hockey. Let the boys on the ice do all the fighting and the fans do all the cheering!!

Let's GO CYCLONES! and Blue Jackets! and Miami RedHawks!

like what somebeach said.. fans need to tail-gate together and have a great time. It's like the sports commercial where a North Carolina and Duke fans unite, Ohio State and Michigan unite and other college rivalry teams unite. But on a better note, I was listening and watching the Cyclones game on the internet because I am at school but I'm glad they have a 2-0 leading heading to S.C. Keep up the great work and let's take the Conference!

As big a Heckler as I am, I know how to behave in another teams arena. I'll call your team every name (clean as I can) in the book, but it ends there. I halted an altercation earlier between Cincy and Dayton fans at the Nut House. Know, that if I was there on Sat., I woulda jumped in between you two and would have tried to talk you into pressing charges. Pardon my French, but this is BULL****, and it will not be tolerated anywhere!! I'm sorry some drunken JACKASS made your trip to Cincy even worse than the games turned out (on your side anyway). BTW, your team SUCKS, but I still know what respect is...(kinda, LOL)

I still have a problem with someone from the stingray camp lobbing a waterbottle at someone's car. I wasn't there but I've taken horrible heckling from the bests in FT Wayne, Cleveland, And Indy and altough I felt like throwing something I choose just to go to the car and leave. If the lobbed waterbottle was a result of clean heckling as someone drove by in the truck, I'm certain I might have been upset....and my guess most of you would also. the sad thing is, the person that felt they needed to yell something at the Stingray bus, I've since grown way up for me to start yelling at anyones bus after they lost, and the reaction to the heckling. The altercation that ensued was grossly uncalled for and I'm sincerly sorry to raysfan that she got involved. Just so I don't get clobbered, i don't condone the fighting, But in the spirit of rivalry simple clean heckling and an Ocassional "rays Suck" in passing I think is fine. Whom ever threw the bottle needs to relax as well.......I DON'T CONDONE ANY OF IT...desclaimer to avoid bashing

Just for the record, I did not, nor do I know of anyone who threw anything at the vehicles in traffic. That is what the people in the truck claimed happened. I did hear something that I thought was something thrown at our bus, and was the reason I was even close to the street in the first place. The player involved and I were walking around the bus to see if something had hit it when the stuff hit the fan as it were. I would never condone anyone throwing things or getting physical with anyone over a hockey game. For me to get physical with anyone, they would have to be threatening my children or grandchildren, and even then, it would have to be pretty much life-threatening. I didn't choose to get involved, I was kinda literally dragged into it trying to keep our player out of trouble. Not a whole lot of time to think in that situation ... otherwise I woulda probably turn tailed and ran (I am a chicken at heart!)

I have no problem with verbal sparring with anyone as long as it isn't vulgar, obsecene or threatening in nature. Some of my best friends from other teams have been made with good natured heckling.

Thanks to everyone who have expressed their apologies and concerns. I am fine, and luckily no one went to jail or the hospital. Ya know? LOL I have no doubt we will be making a return trip next week, and I will be there, looking forward to seeing all of you.

I'll bring my guitar. We can all sit around in a circle and sing Kumbaya!

I know what you mean. I've made some good friends from Dayton via what started out as heckling. Unfortunately it was hard to heckle them this year, you just had to feel sorry for them...
