| I've heard a lot of talk about the SC fans "famous" jello shots.............obviously no one here has ever had any of mine. I am known for my jello shot recipes and such. If anyone wants to know what I do to make mine, feel free to give me an email address and I will send a few recipes for them. Sad to say that we cannot make the games this weekend...........got other obligations at camp. Trails to burn, primitive campers to terrorize.........oh such fun!!!!!!!! Although I wish the games were during the week nights so we could make them. Better get in gear and bring the championship game back to be played at home. |

Susan, the chicken sounds like a good idea. Count me in.
I'm also making some chili to bring. Kelli's bringing the bowls and spoons and what such. I found a recipe for Western Wrangler Chili, so I figure that would be a good one to try as a "sacrifice to the hockey gods." I've never tried this recipe, but it sounds pretty good. I hope people like it spicy! It's also the kind of chili that uses steak instead of ground beef. A whole new experience for me...
And in addition to the types of Jell-O shots we had in SC, I'll be trying a new one. I found a recipe for a regular shooter yesterday called Cyclone Attack! I'll be making the Jell-O version for the tailgate. But I'll also be bringing lots of water. You can't live off of Jell-O shots alone! |

Actually, it has a bunch of beans in it. Typically, most "western type chili" does, or at least as far as I can tell from reading the recipes. It doesn't have any tomato base in it either, which I find weird. All it has is the beef, onion, peppers, beans, spices & beef stock. If I leave the beans out it's just going to be spicy beef soup! LOL  |

I wouldn't count on the restrooms being available till 6:30. This is not a team organized event-we the fans are doing it on our own.
Somebody needs to bring Choco-Tacos. Meijer in Northgate doesn't carry them. |

Looks like quite a mix of food being had at this tailgate. Was going to bring some BBQ, but got hit with a LOT of caterings for this weekend. (LOL Including the Cyclones. In fact might be a little late to the tailgate because I am delivering food for them. Was told to prep enough for 100 [instead of the normal 50] because of all the extra media and officials that will be there.)
So instead of BBQ will be bringing fresh made 'summer sausage', sliced ham and cheeze. Oh yeah and crackers too.
