| am i the only one who woke up this morning in a cold sweat knowing that game 5 was tonight that will definately set the tone for the rest of the series. A best of 7 series has now been widdled down to a best of 3 series and I for one am terrified :( To me, the remaining 3 games, like the 4 before them, have basically been push all your chips in the pot and flip a coin. I don't know how much longer I can deal with the stresses of this series |

| I've thought a little about it and I have almost made the decision that if tonights game goes badly, I'm probably a no show for Thursday. If series ties up again at 3-3 you just cannot miss a game 7. |

| I'm nervous as hell. I can't see us playing like we did Friday night though, so I actually have a pretty good feeling about tonight. It would be nice to get a couple of early goals instead of having to play catch up all night long. |

Like many of you, yes I do have a concern. However, I've looked at the Cup schedule. So far, the Cyclones only lost games that were a next night after a win. In theory, the Clones should be back at full strength after the extended break.
Go Clones!! |

| I'm thinking that this game 5 will be a breakout game for us. Unfortunately I think the Wranglers have outplayed us, with an exception of game 1 and overcoming the 0-2 defict to win game 3. We have ket to see the Clone A team that we witnessed with game 1. I think the Wranglers are Good, not great. With all the "verterans" and experience the media seems to believe they have, They put a whole lot of confidence in the play of their goaltender. He has given huge rebounds and flopping all over the ice saves that on a good bounce day would go in the net. Here's to a game 5 Clone win....This LV team is pesky like the Royals were. |

| As for my nerves and my concern about tonights game, it's really no more nerves or worries that I would have going into a regular season game. Knowing that things that are out of our control like officiating and luck are what worries me the most. I have got to believe this LV goaltender has to run out of luck sooner or later. Lv has been taking more chances knwoing their goaltender is playing well but they are due for a schlacking |

| To be completely honest.. I was hoping the Clones would lose either game 4 or 5 so that they'd come home. I hate to say I'd like to see them lose a game but as a college student--I definitely cannot afford to fly out to Vegas with no more skybus and gas prices how they are. But with that said, the other night when I saw we had McElroy back I thought for sure our defense was going to be too good and they might win it in Vegas. Somehow, we lost & I kinda tend to think the Clones lost on purpose. I expect a very physical performance tonight from our boys and I expect nothing less than a butt whoopin. I think they'll win tonight and win it here--Game 6--in Cincinnati thursday. Atleast, I hope so. LoL The series has been great. Vegas is talented but we are the best team in the league & we'll prove that when we set the record for the most win in one season tonight. Go Cyclones. See u Thursday |

| That's funny that you say that about the Clones losing on purpose, my wife said the same thing and I told her that was nonsense. Surprising to me that someone else had the idea. I think we were flat from the face off and after ralling to win the game before I felt we were spent. I don't think that with a series like this is turing out to be that a team cannot pan a game because that could come back and haunt you. I agree, everyone wants to see the cup at home. Remember our offense has been shut out before in this series, so it was not that surprising for me to see them drop an egg after such a grueling game the night before |

| No team is going to lose on purpose just so they can win it on home ice. It's bad karma and that's one thing about hockey players they are very superstitious (I think I spelled that right LOL) and they would want to win the cup anywhere they can. Home or away. |

| Now if you want to call a team coming out flat during their championship run losing on purpose then so be it that's what happened. I'm certainly no professional athlete at 5 foot nothing and 200 pounds and something, but I cannot fathom coming out flat during the series for all the marbles....think of it, banners, championship patches on our jerseys next year...man |

| With important games on the line like tonight's, I feel the winner of tonights game will in all likelyhood be the champs, do you feel that it would have been better to have a single Captain to rally behind or do you still like the multiple assistant captain idea |

I hate to agree Scuba on your point, but I think tonight's winner will be the champ. The way these two teams play-the referee job is going to decide this series."Let them Play" will give it to Vegas and "Play pro Hockey and not Street" will give it to us. I hope tonight's game is over by the time I have to leave for work at 5 AM.We are due for a multi OT game. |

Been thinking about the game quite a bit today and have good vibes as to its' outcome. I will be on the edge of my seat during the whole of the game. So 'see' you all in chat tonight!
Called my friend (that is there) and told her she has to be late for the game!!! lol Every time she misses the opening face off, our CYCLONES have won that game. Have already called in for my tickets and will pick them up tomorrow and I am bringing Mom. For the few she has been to this season, they have won each! LOL I am not taking any chances! |
