Not to jump the gun but who gets it?

Here's the run down...We know it's going to be a cyclone but it's a close call:

David Desharnais :
Games played: 21
Goals: 9 (t-2nd)
Assists: 23 (1st)
Points: 32 (1st)

(next closest has 21 points...)

Cedrick Dejardins:
Games played: 15
Goals Against: 28
Shutouts: 1
Goals Against: 1.89 (1st)
Save Percentage: .937 (1st)
Wins: 10
Losses: 4

Your thoughts? What about co-MVP? They have both been pivitol in the quest for the cup and both are extremely young players. Their accomplishments are each astounding and each deserve everything they have coming to them, which hopefully for them means hefty paychecks and long contracts in the NHL!

My thought is we may be getting ahead of ourselves? Hockey gods NO LIKE picking an MVP before you have the cup!!!

Now confidence I have in the boys... but no one needs the hockey gods against you!

and I vote for DD! =)

Well we'll know when we hoist the cup who's the MVP :) so theres no sense in speculating come thursday night around 10PM when the horn sounds, the confetti flies and the city once again has a Championship Team :)

It's DD, without a doubt. The performance last night left no doubts.

I'd say Ceddy truthfully, just because goalie's do win championships.

I honestly think they both have done very well, but until the cup is given to the 'Clones no one should be picking MVP just yet.

Cyclones hockey. A championship caliber team in a city of losers.

If we win, then flip a coin between the two.

Desjardins closed the door on Reading, stood on his head in games 4 and 5 vs. SC, and has allowed LV all of 7 goals in 5 games so far.

DD is just blowing away everyone else in the points department. He has been involved (2g8A) with 10 of the Clones 12 goals in the final series. Unbleepingreal.

I don't think that any strong argument can be made that the team would be where it is without either player.

As the late great River Downs track announcer Kevin Gomer used to say when two horses hit the wire at the same time: "Can't split 'em".

"The only way David Desharnais will see an NHL game is if he buys a ticket".
--donnie hockey

"David Desharnais will be invisible during 5 on 5 hockey. IN THE AHL"
--donnie hockey
