Martin was called up to Hamilton in December and did not return here until Hamilton's season concluded. After his 25 game PTO (Professional Try Out) contract ended this past season, Hamilton signed him to an AHL deal that runs through 2008-09.
I'd say it's unlikely that we'll see anymore of Martin here in Cincinnati. He's really developed into a very sound stay-at-home defenseman with a physical presence. Who knows? He may wear an NHL uniform someday.
