Didn't you say something at the beginning of this season about "oh that happened last year, stop dwelling on it." ?
Oh well, enjoy your collective hard on while it lasts. If there's one thing that Cincinnati fans are good at it's pretending that we or anyone else in the division are going to give a damn about you or your team.
As of June 6 everyone was 0-0-0-0. Only 4 teams make the playoffs out of the North this year, making it the hardest division to make the playoffs in once again. If any of the players, coaches etc on your team decide to look back or rest on their laurels for even a second they will be swept up by the current and have no chance of making the playoffs, let alone repeating as cup champions.
From what I can see out of Wheeling there will be no "gimmies" in the North this year. This division will be the hardest out of any division to play in and whomever makes it to the playoffs alive will have a tough road to travel to get the north to a cup final again.
It's going to be a damn interesting season. |

SCUBA, I am sorry but you made no sense.
We won the 2008 Kelly Cup... what about 2009? In 2009 the road to a repeat is going to be the toughest road, especially with pretty much every team in our division improving. I will always treasure this years cup and all the accolades. But Im no longer hung over. It is time to get focused on defending it, as it is a lot harder to defend than to win. |

To scuba,I totally agree with " How cool is it going to be at attend the raising of the Championship banner"
but you killed the spirit with the second part.As for Jericho,go on up and celebrate
your Fort Wayne Komets banner and we will enjoy ours.Yes I know we start out at 0-0,
but you had the right to brag last year on beating us in the playoffs,I guess we don't
deserve the same rights this year.By the way,if you are talking about "bragging" on the
Cyclones on this sight,maybe you forget this is a Cincinnati Cyclone website,not the
Dayton Bummers! Okay go ahead and laugh at me,I'm still proud of our KELLY CUP CHAMPION

You said bragging, not me.
I never said you didn't have the right to say anything, what I did say was that quite a few of you told us that our run (and beating you in game seven) didn't matter last year. Just pointing out that you are hypocrites... that's all.
Besides, our board is getting re-done right now. It'll be down for the next week and I'm bored. |

| Both were great achievements. It's good for the state of Ohio that one team makes it to the Finals and the other wins it next year. |

You're dead on when you say how great the two Ohio teams pulled back to back Eastern
Conference wins.Looking at the hill we have to climb by not only beating a final team
cold but the conference championship also against a team you rarely if not ever played,
it was great for Dayton to make the finals and the Cyclones winning it.

| So none of you remember even remotely the crap WE got after being up 3-1 and then losing to Dayton? None of you can remember having to listen to "We are raising our North division champs banner as well as our american confrence banner" none of you remember that?, and yes I dislike Dayton...remember it's a RIVALRY, we did what they didn't...plain and simple, alittle retrobution as far as i'm concerned...No spirit killed as far as i'm concered Bags, fortunatly, this league we don't pass medals out to everyone. As for c-man, your calling the kettle black, the 2008 Kelly cup championship banner with be raised on October 25th...against Dayton, It should be a great time, we did what they wanted to do...they failed, we didn't |

| as for Jericho, I never told anyone to not to dwell on it, I would challange you to find a post where I did, The loss to you guys in a way still stings Me because we had you on the ropes and it could have been quite possible that we could have gone back to back. Not likely but possible. No I don't expect you to give a Darn about our team but when you do occasionaly squeek out a win the Cyclones seems pretty important to you guys then. Look I'm quite certain that we deserve to rub the banner in faces of foes, if it's not for you then don't participate. I'm not going to walk on egg shells when it comes to dayto, they should be able to take as much as they put out |

you're not the only one who doesn't like dayton. but im glad there around i enjoy a local rival. and speak your mind and don't be afraid its you expressing your fandom on a cyclones board not a bummers board. if you can't enjoy a championship whats it really worth? |

You get your posts deleted on that site for no reason if you disagree with a Dayton fan on it, or simply state facts that have absolutely 0% go do with bashing Dayton or anything along those lines. Just letting you know if you ever do decide. Not that I'm pinning that on Jericho because he's not on charge, nor starting anything, it really is just a simple FYI. |

| i agree with you dr. feelgood...now me, i have nothing against dayton (considering i have a few friends in the area) but i must say im really getting tired of this constant bickering...jericho, i dont expect you to care about what we did in the 2008 season, but dont come on here and talk about us in a negitive way...both teams did there best last season, its just, we made it further than the other...now lets all just focus on the 09 season... |

| Wow Kevin-that was extremely well put. I would have to agree with all of the Cyclones fans posts. Jericho-what your team did last season was great. Now, let us relish in the fact that we are the league champs. It's been a very long time in coming to the Cyclones & their true fans, not the ones that jumped on the bandwagon at the very end. Who knows, maybe this coming season both of our teams will be beaten by somebody else! |
