anyone else noticing our great forecheck this year and ability to get those nice turnovers in the opponents zone. good speed on the dump in's to. i thought petruk looked better tonight of course. still makes me nervous, and the late goals have GOT to stop. made it almost too close last night, hah. he did do a good job of picking up his rebounds last night w/ the glove. hopefully he can settle into his game now.
I thought we were in for the same old stuff last night when Petruk let in a goal on the first shot. But he did better controlling rebounds and looked very good in the shootout. Overall, he was much better than he was opening night.
Anyone know why the first Toledo goal was waved off?
