From the ECHL:
"Cincinnati right wing Tyler Deis is the InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week for December 1-7.

Born in Calgary, Alberta, Deis scored two goals, had six assists and was +4 in three games as Cincinnati went 2-1-1 for the week to improve to 11-11-1.

In his first game with Cincinnati on Friday, Deis had three assists and was +1 as the Cylcones lost 5-4 to Wheeling. Playing in his second game for Cincinnati on Saturday, Deis snapped a 2-2 tie with a third-period goal after assisting on the first two goals as the Cyclones beat Greensboro 5-3. He closed out the week scoring a goal and assisting on the game-winning goal as Cincinnati won 3-1 at Peoria.

The 6-0 and 195-pound Deis was waived by Greenville of the ECHL on November 18 after scoring three points (1g-2a) in 10 games. Prior to signing with Cincinnati on Friday, he played with Wichita of the Central Hockey League scoring two points (1g-1a) in six games.

In 2002-03, Deis was Captain of Greenville and tied for the team lead with 38 assists and ranked second on the team with 24 goals and 62 points in 72 regular season games and scored two points (1g-1a) in four Kelly Cup Playoff games.

In 2001-02, Deis scored 21 points (7g-14a) in 20 regular season games with Mobile of the ECHL and 46 points (20g-26a) in 55 regular season games with Baton Rouge of the ECHL. He began his professional career with Charlotte of the ECHL scoring 30 points (15g-15a) in 56 regular season games in 1999-2000 and 25 points (9g-16a) in 58 regular season games in 2000-01."

Trying to talk Coach into letting Deis do the Ceremonial First Puck tomorrow night. My Ty gets the honor for his birthday and I'm hoping that Deis, Masters & Villier can get a group shot!

I think Revved's trying to separate the individual from the organization.

There's been history in the past (not necessarily here) where an individual makes an entire group look bad. I'm assuming Revved is making sure he doesn't do that.

You are correct Gonzo. Other people were taking heat from things I've posted here - all of them MY personal observations. I put the disclaimer in to HOPEFULLY keep people from verbally attacking Fan Club Board Members and rank-n-file and employees of the Cyclones, the Arena, and the concessionaire, whom I'm employed with. I wasn't given names, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same ones that assulted the wives and girlfriends of the players on different occasions during games because of the efforts of the women's significant other.

If those people have an issue, they have my email, Yahoo!, MSN & AOL addresses, know where I work at the Arena and my family. I have no problem with them directing comments to me personally. However, I have a HUGE problem when they go after people that have nothing to do with what I post here or elsewhere.

I've been given a tremendous opportunity to work on the Fan Club website and assist the organization and the hockey team promote our efforts internationally. It's a shame that was almost destroyed by a small handful of misguided individuals that couldn't separate the man from the group.

Sorry for getting long-winded, but that's me...
