Wonder if the ECHL is in their future?
Just did a mapquest search and found that it is only a 5 hour drive to their arena for my house in Mariemont, so maybe this looks likely. |

I have fond memories of attending K-wings games when I went to school in Kalamazoo waaaaaay back when. I'd love to be making road trips up there, especially with the lake effect snow LOL.
You could maybe see the K-wings take on the Cyclones, and then hop over to WMU and catch the Broncos and Miami Redhawks. |

| I remember a long time ago at the Gardens, we were playing the K-wings, playoff series and I think Manny Fernandez was kicking our butts......until he apparently played a pickup backyard 3-3 game of basketball and hurt an ankle, If I remember correctly Members from section 60 had made signs that said, hey manny how about a game of 1-1 basketball? It was either folks from section 60 , or folks sitting in and around that area...maybe it was opposite the section 60 side.....great fun nevertheless. pick up basketball who would have thought.....Oh yea, I remember a first round draft pick in football a couple of years ago BLEW out his knee playing sand football at the superbowl festivities.....bummer |
