I would also like to mention to the locals that run this team...
It might be a good idea to announce there will or won't be a team next year in a timely manner. Not August...but maybe, the end of June. The longer you wait to make an announcement, the more season ticket holders think about other things to do with their entertainment dollar, and the more non season ticket holders do too.

| even if there is a team next year, i hope they won't be putting the type of product out on the ice they did this year... or at least what we have had the end of the year w/ constant trading. |

ECHL sources say Cincinnati will be among a handful of teams in the next few weeks that will request to suspend operations and go dormant for one year. . . |

| Hack or not, we've heard more from him on the 'clones future than we have from the Nederlanders. |

Sure, why did he just name Cincinnati, Who are the other teams going dormant for a year? If the Cyclones do go, I think its for good. How many will jump ship and get Ducks season ticket next year and stay with the team even if the Cyclones do come back. Big mistake if you ask me.....if these rumors are even true. |

If the Cyclones pull the plug for even one year,I can't imagine any hope of returning. Look at the fans we have lost due to the changes of management and coaches. If management is reading this, here is my request to you. If you are planning on next year playing, how about sending all us season ticket holders either a telephone call or a letter/email telling us you know we are here and stay tune for next year ticket info. If I don't here anything by May 1, I would bet next year is dead.Even if your not sure, what do you have to lose by contacting us. |

| I won't have season tickets regardless, but I think this is probably the end of the team as we know it. There's rumors of the Ducks being finished after the season as well but we hear it every year and it's never anything substantiated. It was a good run, it's a shame that it ended like this. I would have preferred to go out when the IHL died in our glory days rather than have it go out with such a whimper. Last year we made an amazing run and the game against Wheeling where we had to win on the last game of the season to make the playoffs two years ago was fun, but it still doesn't compare to the Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Orlando rivalries from back in the day. If they are back i'm sure i'll go to some games, but there's no reason for us to dedicate time and money to this anymore. The ability to go when we want to instead of feeling obligated to attend every game because the tickets were already paid for sounds much more attractive at this point, especially with the current state of the team and organization. I'm sure a few NHL games would be fun to attend again as well, but I seriously doubt any consideration to go see the Ducks unless it was comped and extreme boredom was setting in. It was fun while it lasted. |

| Take this for what it is worth: I work with a Duck's off-ice official. He is being told that this is the last year for Anaheim and that there is a possibility of Columbus using the Ducks as their AHL team. Most of what he tells me is true, so this may very well happen. I agree with Puckhead. This team should have left with the I. I haven't been to a game since November and haven't missed it a bit. In the old days, I was always there but somehow this is different. Can't put my finger on it, but the fun is no longer there. |

Okay, I'm going way out on this one. Just say the Cyclones announce they go dormant for a year after the season. IF the Anaheim Ducks do pull out of Cincinnati. So there is no team at the Gardens. The Robinson's are interested in buying another team (the Cyclones) and taking them back to the Gardens so they have a hockey team??
Okay putting away what ever I'm smoking and coming back to reality. |

Have you been going to SmokingGun.com again? I've been projecting a much more elaberate Warren Commission conspiracy theory on another board. Now that Sarasota-Bradenton have officially announce they're breaking ground on an arena and will be ready for the 2005-06 ECHL season, here's the revision:
1) Anaheim pulls out and goes west with their AHL team. 2) Lowell splits and becomes Calgary-only. 3) Carolina relocates to Cincinnati for AHL. 4) Current ECHL franchise lays dormant for 2004-05. 5) Franchise sold to owners of Columbus, GA, who are putting the team in FL. 6) Cyclones name and logo sold to Robinson for AHL team.
Cyclones back in the Gardens AND with Hurricanes again AND in Triple-A hockey once more!
Although I DO like the BlueJackets angle...Dayton to Cincinnati to Columbus...very intreging! |

I just kills me to see how things have gone with the Cyclones. I will be at Fridays game in my Snowbird jersey for one last hurrah. Hats off to Matt Dunne and his ilk for killing a once great franchise.
