What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

| Great promotion. I don't know that I would want to hear the cheers at that game...probably sound more like a Hannah Montana concert. But getting the girls to the game is a great idea. A celebration of a 98th anniversary is strange, but in this day and age, when you get a good promotional idea, you have to run with it. Ya never know if the team will still be there when the Girl Scouts celebrate 100. Yeah, the jerseys will most likely draw ridicule from the other team, but again referring to this day and age, the way these teams seemingly create a different jersey for each and every promotion such as this, opposing teams never know when the shoe will be on the other foot....or more literally, when the jersey will be on the other chest. I wonder how much of the proceeds from the jersey auction will go to the Girl Scouts. |

To say that is 'freaking ridiculous' is an insult to the Girl Scouts and a little harsh! How many times have the players/teams worn PINK Jerseys for Breast Cancer Awareness!
Yes, an unusual promotion to celebrate 98 years. But promotion is the way to bring more to a game.
If only 1 out of every 5 become a new hockey fan and keep coming back then I say the idea works!

Like I said over on ITB about the Girl Scout jerseys, those are nothing. Those actually look halfways decent, and I think it's a bit silly that so much fuss is being made about them.
Kalamazoo has a Golden Ice game sponsored by McDonald's as of last year. And last year, the Wings came out wearing Ronald McDonald jerseys.

Wow, calm down. I was a Girl Scout for 12 years. I'm not bashing them in any way. It's a good promotion and a great cause for them to acknowledge and raise money for.
I just think those particular jerseys are ridiculously hideous. They're almost all white with a small green "sash" that most people not involved with Girl Scouts would even recognize. I just wonder how many people had to approve that design. It could have been done much better.
And most of the league's Pink jerseys are pretty cool. I like them and Sherry gets compliments on hers in almost every arena we go to. And like Primis said over on ITB, Kzoo wins the ugly jersey contest with those crazy McDonald's jerseys on "pee colored ice". LOL |

| I think it is a nice promotion and have no arguments against the Wranglers raising money for Girl Scouts. I applaud them for helping out community organizations that need the money. However, those jerseys are some of the most hideous things I've ever seen- besides the old tie-dye jerseys or whatever they were that the 'Clones used to wear in the early 2000's sometimes |
