are there any bars where hockey fans in cincinnati get together to watch nhl games or something? i'd like to make some more friends who are into it. and yeah, i know i can meet people at games, but i'm kinda shy in crowds. and i'm sure you can figure out which nhl team i'm a fan of...

anyhow, GO CLONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your best bet would probably be Slugger's, although I'm sure someone else has some other reccs.

Slugger's is a sports bar in Evendale, it's in the Sports Plus building. Typically away Cyclones games are shown there and, well, since it's a connected to a hockey complex, generally there's a few NHL games on as well. A bunch of us were just there this past weekend.

Unfortunately there really isn't a "hockey bar" in Cincinnati, at least not that I've heard of or found. Most of the Buffalo Wild Wings location will put game on if you ask but you're not going to find a lot of fans there specifically to watch hockey games.

Sluggers is a good option since they do have games on to try to bring the men's league players in after they get done playing. From my experience there seems to be less of that now than there was a year or so back.

If you happen to find some place, I'd like to know about it too haha.

Donnie you beat me to it about Willie's. In addition we have had luck with the Chammps (sp) off of Union Centre Blvd. They have put on games for us as well, we just had to tell them the channel.

thanks, everyone. i've only lived here for like ten years and getting to know people has been difficult. most of my friends are either in the local music scene or people i've met at church. i've only met a few people here and there who like hockey.
