I'm disappointed that Morehouse wasn't rostered for the playoffs.

Yeah, he is fun to watch and brings good energy, but you don't really need Morehouse and Benson on your playoff roster. And clearly Coach is hoping (planning?) to see Van Guilder and Lacroix in Cyclones sweaters again.

I would much rather have had Morehouse on the roster. Lately it seems like Hans has gone out of his way to land the big hit or tried to get the opponent to drop the gloves resulting in a cyclones man-disadvantage. while chris was no saint on the ice i felt he took fewer "stupid" penalties.

Hans played his best game of the season tonight with three assists. Hopefully he won't be suspended for the extracurriculars at the end of the game.

I didn't know he had the ability but he did shine tonight.

I didn't know what he was doing but Morehouse was on the bench in a suit tonight coaching or being another set of eyes. Playoff roster or not I'm glad he stuck around.

Benson played very well tonight. I wasn't looking when the extracurricular started after the end of the game, but the guy behind me said Carbery started it and Benson and Aubin retaliated. When I looked it was already a pile of bodies, so I can't say. It looks like the ref just gave everyone in the pile a 10.

Morehouse looked to be helping out motivationally behind the bench. He may have also been helping with the Forward line changes. I couldn't really tell. Great to see him back there though.

I was really surprised at how unphysical SC was tonight. I hope they keep playing like that, but I won't hold my breath.

Carbery was d-bagging it up like usual. He always thinks he's a tough guy when he goes after people who aren't looking or when the linesman is holding him back. It looked to me like he tried to cheap shot Aubin as he was skating off the ice while Mathieu had his back turned. Great game overall for the guys, no issues at all and Smith was awesome.

Does anyone have any inside info as to why Reynolds isn't on the roster? Injury or something else going on? He's got championship experience and is one of the best contributors on the team.

GO HABS GO!!!

Reynolds must have an injury that is going to go beyond the playoffs. Thats the only explanation for him not being on the roster, and his "A" was on Sproat's sweater last night.

We've seen the last of Reynolds for this season. I'm just curious as to what happened.

I spoke with Scott last night and he said it was a knee injury and he'll be having surgery. Also in the stands last night was Matt MacDonald.

Morehouse was behind the bench for the Johnstown game as well. During the pregame Chuck told hammer it was because Chris was vocal and was a motivational factor for the Boys. I think it's great to see.

I also would have rather had Morehouse on the roster over Benson, mostly because Benson has developed a history for taking bad penalties at bad times in the game. Morehouse, on the other hand, had a tendency to draw penalties. That being said, if Benson keeps playing like he did last night then it's a great move.
