Goaltender Martin Biron won't be re-signed by the New York Islanders, but he might end up being a prime target for the Montreal Canadiens.
The Canadiens will likely deal Jaroslav Halak or Carey Price in the offseason, which means they'll need a backup. There have been plenty of rumored goalies who could be heading to Montreal, including one of the Edmonton youngsters -- Jeff Deslaurier or Devan Dubyk. However, it's likely the Habs will want a veteran to backup whichever goalie they choose to keep.
