Getting ready to start the overtime period.
Can't believe how similar these teams are.
BTW - here is my thumbnail impression of the SC team. Ray - would like to hear your comments.
Fist off, SC has two johnsons and one di@k. Love the Johnson brothers, but Spencer Crybaby is such a jerk. You can either play tough or you can whine a lot, but when you do both, it is just annoying. He tries to get away with all the crap he can, but he acts so butt-hurt when anyone touches him. Boy, that gets old quick. Todd Ford is a great goalie. However, I think the Rays best player is Dylan Yeo. He is always in the right place at the right time. He is just a wonderful defenseman.

BHF - that is the same thing that Hamel said on the air. He was in a break when the winning goal was scored.
1 minute before SC won, Heidenger has a great break away opportunity that he could not quite capitalize on.

Another great game tonight. IMO it's a shame this series is only 5 games. I love tight checking, intense hockey. Think we could get them to change it to a best of 7? LOL
As far as Carberry goes... that's his job. He draws as much attention to himself as possible. Apparently it's working. Normally he fights alot, but that's not likely in the playoffs. He's a good locker room leader, and a team guy. You have a couple like him youselves.
And yes.... Yeo is a machine. He does everything well, and he never seems to get tired. Personally, I'm surprised he's still playing in the ECHL.
Whatever happens tomorrow night, nobody has anything to be ashamed of. Excellent hockey.
PS: Jeremy Smith is really starting to get on my nerves. lol |
