Congrat Cyclones Fans!!!!!
That was one hell of a series. The best first round matchup ever as far as I'm concerned. There's a reason why we are the last 2 Kelly Cup Champs. The best 2 teams somehow ended up meeting in the first round.
Now go ahead and take care of them sorry @$$ Checkers. |

Congrats Cincy.
For your reward you get...
... Charlotte.
Yeah I know, pretty lousy "reward". If you guys can get by the Checkers next though nobody will be able to say you didn't earn it. SC, and now Charlotte. I'm telling you, the AmeriEast looks very deep and tough this year. |

Stingray Fan....thanks and I hated to see both teams play each other in the first round. That should of been a best of 7 series to advance to the Kelly cup finals.
hopefully we get healed up and can jump past those Checkers. |

Love to hear the boys did good. I was working and had to go home right after so I couldn't come down and spend time watching the last of the game with everyone at Slugger's tonight unfortunately, but I'm happy to hear of the win.
Ehgo in a big way too. |

Way to go boys! Wow, I was about to get sick all weekend. What a great series. It is sucky that it wasn't Conference finals though... And yeah Primis, what kind of reward is Charlotte? Although, Toledo wouldn't have been any picnic... |

And the same to you folks. You can't get a series better than that and it should have been a best of seven, if not a repeat of playing for the conference championship. There can't be a soul out there who doesn't think it could have gone either way. |

I agree with what everyone else here has said. If SC would have won last night, I would certainly congratulated them. You just can't get more even than these two teams. And one of my favorite things in sports is to see the class that both teams show after the game, shaking hands and congratulating each other on a well played game and series.
I heard that one of the games in Charlotte was going to be played at their practice facility, because the Bobcats have a playoff game that night. Anyone know anything about that? |

what a great series! Every time we play the Sting Rays they are great games. So glad i stayed up Sunday night to listen to the games and glad I got 1530 in- the reception was awful but just good enough. Well now its Charlotte. I think that this series is actually more of an advantage for us i don't think we will have as much trouble with the checkers. surprised to see K'zoo and Elmira get knocked off and I think that the path is clear now for us to get to the Kelly Cup Finals |

Great series.
Its a good thing we have 5 days to rest up after a series like that. And Charlotte has been very physical against us all year.
Smith and Ford were both incredible, but it still makes me very nervous to go through entire playoff series with an EBUG. At least there is more rest between games in the next series.

Read the K-Zoo papers and coach Bootland pointed out how many Reading players had come back from the Toronto Marlies and Providence Bruins ( neither made the playoffs) of the AHL and that "they were a much better team than the one we played during the season". Charlotte has dual affiliations also and neither Hartford or Lake Erie made the playoffs and thus they have lots of players back too. Since the end of the ECHL season, Charlotte has had four players come back and Reading has had seven!! |
