When the Cyclones moved from the Gardens to Riverfront Colisium/The Crown/Firstar Center/US Bank Arena and all the propaganda/rumors/hate mail/etc. started the Hockey Wars, why didn't you guys change the name to Section 140? I mean if the Ducks and the Robinsons were deemed the enemy, why on earth refer to that seating section in Norwood? Call me crazy, but it makes no sense to me!
Now that the pending sale of the ECHL franchise is all but announced, would it not make sense to let bygones be bygones and forgive, if not forget, the past 9 years and take your lawful place back in the very section that you made famous (or infamous, as the opposing team would claim)?
It would be awesome to have a contest each and every home game of the RailRaiders to see who can be the most disruptive and obnoxious to the visiting goalie - Section 60 or Heckler's Grove! |

Well... The main reason for holding onto "Section 60" is because it was established. We also were REALLY close to having the Colisium/Crown/Firstar/US Bank Arena actually CHANGE Section 140 to Section 60!! In fact, before they opened for business after the renovation, they had printed seating charts (in color) with "Section 60" where Section 140 is today. I guess they figured that in the longrun it would be confusing to people to throw off the numbering sceme. (So close!)
I have been out of contact with the "gang" lately, so I don't know what the plans are for the future.

Well there's a hockey house party this Saturday and everyone's invited!
Call the Gardens at (513) 351-3999 for reservations, directions and information.
If we can get the band back together, the visiting team would go bonkers! |

speaking of which...
Elvis says he will be in attendence this coming season (with bells on!  ) and is bringing all us girls. you know, wednesday, saturday, and the canuk too.
The 6'1" canuk is really good at heckling in Quebecoise (or however you spell that) and we have been practicing our french phrases, such as "i'd like a piece of that fine canadian bacon" and "spank my monkey" (and more upon request)
Plus, no one knows AHL stats like us bitches and enough stories about players on opposing teams to last many many seasons.
