The Philadelphia Flyers played a preseason game here 15 years ago or so at whatever sponsor-ification US Bank Arena was back then; as I recall there were a lot of people there. Anyone else remember that game? |

I personally don't remember that game, but even more recently wasn't there an exhibition game between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers?
I've always wondered why the Columbus Blue Jackets don't play any preseason games or a home game in Cincinnati or Cleveland. You could use it as an excellent opportunity to promote the jackets, pro hockey and the clones (and the monsters in cleveland). |

I don't think anyone is saying you have to follow the "masses" or like one particular team more than the other. Rather, there's a stark difference in the public's awareness of minor league and major league sports and a WLWT poll question comparing the minor league team to the major league teams is probably not going to end in the favor of the clones.
I'm like you, I'm a fan of all the teams. |

The ECHL is an underrated league. It's an entertaining brand of hockey. Every year there are more NHL-contracted players in the league, some of them high draft picks.

Really? Then why do you post on a ECHL hockey message board?

I don't understand why you think that was a knock against the E...he called it underrated, entertaining, with a high talent level... |

Umm yeah, that was actually a compliment to the ECHL. Me thinks Don was trying to be nice...and positive. |
