I think it's damn cool and CLASSY that the Steelheads organization salutes us on their website.......does anyone remember if the Las Vegas Wranglers did that 2 years ago?? I still have my Cyclones tee shirt on from Fri night. What a high!! I'm such a mess.

One point of fact; Our mayor as well as there's made a bet. Of course Las Vegas lost, so there mayor had to wear a Cyclones jersey during the next city counsel meeting. It was on youtube, it still maybe there. |

Thanks for the kind email regarding us putting a thank you up to the Cyclones on our website. Though we were disappointed in losing the Kelly Cup we were proud that our team fought hard. Each game was only decided by one goal and most of those in the last minutes of each game. The Cyclones came out on top so we tip our caps to them for a well deserved Kelly Cup Championship. We hope that we can meet them again next year. I would also like to thank all of the people of Cincinnati who treated myself and the team great. It was my first visit to Cincinnati and I was very impressed with the City and the fans. Best of luck this summer. Eric Trapp President Idaho Steelheads at Qwest Arena

Bob,
Thanks for the note. And I am happy to respond to you. It was a terrific series and your team deserved to win. I think Cincy could win the Stanley Cup...you are on such a roll!
We get a lot of feedback over the season. Most of the time, it is critical of what we do. It is always nice to get a positive note like yours. I appreciate you taking the time to write to us. I will forward to our staff.
We begin working on next season TODAY! Here's hoping we meet again next May!
If you ever get a chance to visit Boise, please stop in and see us. It is always nice to meet a passionate hockey fan.

Just goes to show, Cyclones are a class organization with class fans for reaching out. There was a couple Idaho fans at the game and I stopped and spoke to them and welcomed them to Cincinnati (but of course I couldn't wish them luck). I saw Bags and some other people talking to them and I didn't see anyone give them a hard time.
Actually the same was said with S.C., Charlotte, and Reading fans. I hear that generally our fans are treated with respect when they go to other venues (of course there are ALWAYS exceptions), and I think it speaks highly of us to be more so.
What else would you expect from a championship organization! |
...And on the eighth day, GOD created the Cyclones! |
