Is there any way to get an audio copy of the game 5 kelly cup finals broadcast? Did anybody by chance record it or know of an online archive?
Interested for personal use/archives. |

You can buy the video & audio combined from B2 networks... then get a program to extract the audio out.
I bought the last game from the 07-08 season from them. |

I'm with you on that. I did that very thing with '08 championship. BUT, currently B2 is not offering to sell  any games at this time. Bummer!If somebody else out there can convence B2 network to comply with our demands, PLEASE POST IT! |

Randy, thanks for the heads up.
The game is available for $19.95 and it seems like you are able to download the game in .wmv format. Hopefully the quality is pre-broadcast and not nearly as pixelated. I could easily transfer this to DVD.
Looks like B2 also has advertising supported archived games but it's all pretty random. There's an ECHL channel at http://b2cabletv.com/?channelsid=42 I tuned in and it looked like the Cyclones game from Scout night was airing. |

$19? Wow.
I think I paid like $12 for my 07-08 copy.. but then I complained the quality was bad and they refunded me the money.
One thing I noticed, the feed quality on the TVs above the food lines in the arena looks like DVD quality.. |

| I bought game 6 from the finals of '08 and someone gave me games 1, 3, & 5 (all wins) in exchange for game 5 against South Carolina of that year. I also have game 2 against South Carolina, too. Can't recall the price I paid back then but I do recall I bought them later in the summer of '08. |

I just bought the game, its $19.98 for a download. I then burned it to a CD.
The video quality has NOT improved since the 2008 game. (Which I bought a few years ago from B2 for the same price) Not anywhere close to HD, think more like worn VHS tape. The audio feed from Hammer is good; I can't find the Idaho feed. ( Its fun to listen to their take on things)
I wouldn't buy any more games but being the only thing available I guess you take what you can get.
There is no discount if you bought it "live" and then buy the archived copy. So actually I spent $27.97 to watch it live, then watch it again. Hammer giving me a shout out @ 1:30:30 kinda makes it palatable, I guess. |

Recording and collecting Cincinnati sports radio broadcasts is actually one of my hobbies. I was able to record 33 Cyclones games from this season. 16 of those are postseason games. I managed to get every recording of the Kelly Cup Finals this year...If I get a chance, I'll try and post at least the final KCF game so people can download it...
I downloaded Game 6 of the 2008 KC finals a couple years ago and dumped it onto a DVD but the DVD has the opposing team's broadcast ? When I play the file on my computer it has John Hamel...I don't understand why it is doing that....Any ideas.. |

The B2 copy had the Las Vegas play by play as English and the Cincinnati feed as French (no comment on that). Change the language and you should get the alternate feed.
For some reason this years game 5 only has Hammer. I'd be pissed if I was an Idaho fan. (Although I imagine there are very few orders of that game originating out of the Boise area..) |

Maybe because they're getting it via the internet from Cincinnati to wherever they are, and it comes to them looking badly? If the Cyclones were smart, they'd produce a DVD and sell it themselves. |
