What do you all think is going to happen at the "do" on Foutain Square next week? Many thoughts go through my mind but first in my mind is could there be a logo change? Uniform change?
What do you guys think? |

Is the gathering on Fountain Square taking the place of the fan club "Meet the Team Picnic" ?
My guess is that the team will announce a slew of signings, including some returning guys. |

I saw the announcement on the Cyclones website. I plan to be there barring a work related commitment.
I have NOT heard anything about the annual fan club meet the team picnic. Is the picnic going to take place? If so I would also attend barring a work related commitment. |

I for one really enjoy their current logo, and uniform schemes. I hope it a meet the entire team that is going to training camp, and a chance to get to know the new coaches. |

I was told the picnic will be on Sunday October 10th. Location is still to be decided. |

From what I understand, the city of Blue Ash is dragging their feet about where we had it last year. The other options are in the places we had prior to last year (in Montgomery). As soon as the details are finalized, the fan club will let everyone know. |

I've heard a lot of theories, the most common is the introduction of a new logo. Personally, I like the current logos. However, if they are going to announce a return the original logo complete with the sheen jerseys, I'd be beyond psyched.
I was thinking it sounded more like a just to sell tickets and to get the Team out there in front of people who still may not know about them, but after reading the announcement again (for those than can't find it, it's on the splash page that loads before entering the website, not on the actual website itself) it makes me wonder what's going on, they go as far as to say to check out the website for "something special" |

I can tell you that it is a Marketing organized function. The ticket reps don't know what's going on either & that is straight from the mouth of my ticket rep.

Nope. They already painted the logo on the ice. Would be pretty dumb to introduce a new logo and have the old logo on the ice. |

| The best things that I could come up with were either a TV deal (especially with B2 and AmericaOne Television now being one and the same...) or possibly an announcement that the team will be moving up to the AHL after this season (notably, the Springfield Falcons owners stated about 10 days prior to the Cyclones' splash announcement that if they did not find a local buyer immediately, the team would have to be relocated). Frankly, I think both of these are long shots, but that's what I came up with. |
