I watched the training camp session today at Northland Ice Center. The Cyclones have brought in some guys that can really skate including Chris Minella, who played four seasons at Notre Dame. I saw him play in the USHL when he was with Sioux City. He'll score more in the ECHL than he did in college.
They've got some size and defensemen that are mobile. They should have a good team in 2010-11.
Donnie, Minella was one of the guys that jumped out to me right away. He is built for the pro game. He should be quite effective in board battles and in front of the net.
