at least they made a game of this loss.
I hate to say this so early in the season, but last year I looked at out of town games, saw we were down by two late, and assumed we'd find a way to win. Now I see we're up by a goal early and start wondering how we're going to lose. |

I don't think I would get to excited about the two late garbage goals. Playing good for five minutes of a sixty minute game does not impress me. I don't see Kalamazoo as a particularly good team, just better than the Cyclones...Which at this point every other team in the league is also.
Pickard couldn't stop a beach ball. The penalty kill is beyond horrendous (yeah they killed a two minute 5 on 3, so what?) They play timid and undisciplined. When they are able to pass the puck, the receiving player usually can't handle it. They cannot score an even strength goal if their lives depended on it. I'm not subscribing yet to this not being a talented team (beside the goal tending of course), just poorly coached. And I'm sorry...I'm not buying this "New coach, new system" crap. They aren't the only ones with a new system and coach and no one else is playing like they are.
Seven games does not a season make, but there is NO SIGN of improvement from game one until now. I put that on coaching. |

| I just see loose pucks and constant turnovers. There were a few times where our guys don't even know where the puck is when it was near them... we couldn't even take advantage of Kalamazoo's mistakes |

I was hoping I would never have to say this... We have the worst record in the ECHL!!! We're tied with several teams at four points, but they all have at least three games in hand on us.
Do you think anyone's ever gone from Kelly Cup Champions to league cellar dweller in one year? |

Uh yeah, it happens often. I think everyone was surprised we made it to the playoffs in the 08-09 season |
