| Three of a possible four points makes it a successful road trip. |

What a day, it's my anniversery and the Clones win! Although it's a good thing the Mrs. is a huge Clones fan too, since I had the game cranked up on the radio on our way out! lol
Wish I could have seen the Olson and Lord scrap. |

It wasn't much, they were at the end of their shift, so it wasn't all that spirited.
The Nailers have now been shut out three times in five games at Wesbanco. And they'll wonder why no one comes to the games. |

Getting outshot 38-16 isn't the ideal winning formula, but this team will take anything it can get at this point.
Cheverie has turned in two consecutive outstanding efforts, so perhaps the goaltending horror story of this season is in the rear view mirror.
The PK has killed off 14 of 16 successfully in the past two games, so perhaps the 10,000 pound weight of an abysmal penalty kill has been lifted as well.
The Cyclones are now tied for the final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference. All is well

Hopefully it is turning around, but don't get too excited yet. They got horribly outshot on this trip and Cheverie played GREAT two straight road games.
You don't want to count on that to be successful long term. Still a TON of work to be done.

Out of the 38 shots the Cyclones gave up, how many were really scoring chances? The game sheet doesn't provide that information. The Cyclones may have had the edge when it came to the stat that matters, scoring chances for vs. scoring chances against.

Regardless, giving up 90+ shots in two games is never good. Never ever ever.
