| What is it going to take to get some media coverage of the 'Clones? I realize this is nothing new, but there was more attention paid to team that did not even exist. We have a certain sports talk host in this town who rallied around the Rail Raiders and even put money down to secure their existence, but he won't give the 'Clones the time of day. You would think that he'd show some support for a team that will actually be on the ice. I'm sure he'll jump on the bandwagon one of these days and as usual be a follower as opposed to a leader. |

The Enquirer has showed some life for Cincinnati hockey thus far. In the sports section under the "Digest" side column they have had the first couple of game recaps for the Jr Cyclones as well as news updates for them and the Sr Clones. That may not be much, but at least it's SOMETHING in the paper. And while it's not the Cyclones (and I think the general concencus on the media coverage scenario is that of all local hockey), the sports page had a nice front page story (with large images!) regarding the new Goggin Arena and while I didn't see it, I heard a lot about a story ran on the local news about Miami U's hockey history.
There have been plenty of billboards, if that helps at all.
WEBN ran hockey promotion/contest promoting the upcoming Cyclones season.
There was a commercial that aired for a few weeks after the announcement of the return, but another one around now wouldn't be bad. |

I checked out the Junior Cyclones Website as I didn't know a whole lot about them. Very interesting. Are they wearing old Cyclones sweaters? It kind of looks like it.
I also clicked on the "Arena" tab and was forwarded to the Gardens website. It is getting much more use than I realized. |

The morning after the preseason game, I did hear the Cyclones score on "20/20 Sports" on the radio.
I almost drove off the road in shock. |

| I saw it in the regular paper today, front page story with a picture of Coach Weber, full schedule, nice history story, and a picture of Jason Deitsch in action. Good stuff for opening night. Or morning. |
