Problem with Moline is the distance to the other ECHL teams. Massive bus trips for all the east teams and flying for the west teams. They could only benefit here if more "central" cities could be in the league.

I think the CHL is getting ready to implode. I think Colorado will go ECHL, and Rapid City will do everything in the power to get in the ECHL. I believe the CHL will have a season this year, but with maybe 10-12 teams. Bloomington just got a new franchise, but the old one still exists. Dayton is rumored to be dead, but nothing official. I can't wait until the playoffs are over to get the silly season on its way.
Makes you wonder what Fort Wayne will do if the CHL does indeed go dead. Would love to have them in the ECHL. Makes for a good close rivalry.
