Thoughts?

Obviously we were looking at a few guys that won't be on the opening day roster, but there were some general indicators of what we are going to be seeing all season.

My impressions:

- The Rabbit line looked pretty good. Don't get too used to it though.

- Liambas with two of the new guys that are supposed to be scorers for the entire game? That's interesting, and I have to admit I didn't see the motivation for it. They didn't do much.

- The "Keebler Line" (nobody over 175lbs) didn't show much speed, didn't forecheck, and had a couple of defensive breakdowns. I don't think 2 of those 3 are going to make it. If you are that small you have to fly and be in the right place. Didn't happen.

-Taylor started shakey but settled down. Made some good saves.

Yes, I grew up playing hockey... In Alabama.

Agree w/ all your points.
Taylor seemed to be very shaky in the first almost like a
footing problem. Didn't help that #11 for Wheeling camped
out all night on his front door step.
Really surprised (and happy) about Liambas. He played all
night long and don't remember a single "head-hunting" type
hit like we saw last year when he joined on.
Even though he had a goal and two assists, still saw many
times of less than 100% effort from Aubin. Maybe the "C"
could help motivate but I think you will always have that
with him.
