Sounds like the fan club is getting
hard up for money! Why charge ppl $2?
This is the 1st time they have charge for the welcome back pinic so I guess
If u pay the $2 u don't have to bring anything? I know $2 isn't that much
but come on! What if u want to come and don't eat do u still have to
pay just to say hi to the players?

If the Fan Club makes it free for non-members, what's the point in being a member?

Sadly, I have to miss this due to a prior commitment with the Queen City Steam, as well as the exhibition game the day earlier. I also have to miss the home opener (1st time EVER missing the Cyclones home opener).

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ZINGER!!!!!

I agree with DH. Whats the point in being a member if non-members get the same benefits as members? Besides the fan club is bringing meat, cups, etc. That stuff has a cost.

Exactly the point Cycfan! We are covering not just the food, paper items, etc, but we're also covering the costs for the players & coaching staff.

Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.

Fans and who ever wants to come as long as u bring a side dish for 6 plus its
in a public park but hey whatever its a fan club thing so if they just want 15
Ppl there to welcome back the team then
So be it!!!

First let me say when the Welcome cookout was started there was a charge for everyone. The cookout has alway been to welcome the team not the fans. Yes is in a public park but the area where it is being held is reserved. As DH stated what would be the benefit of being a fan club member if you didn't receive a benefit at the events.

Thanks to the BOD for doing a fantastic job with the picnic. Everyone seemed to be having a great time; especially the players with corn hole.
