Cincinnati’s Suter fined, suspended
Cincinnati’s Garett Suter has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #21.1 – Match Penalty, as a result of his actions in ECHL Preseason Game #P-13, Wheeling at Cincinnati, on Oct. 8.
Suter was assessed a match penalty for slew-footing at 10:49 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Suter will miss Cincinnati’s game at Kalamazoo on Oct. 15.
