Whats up with US Bank Arena? I stopped by the kiosk at Kenwood Mall expecting to see a top-notch set up like the Florence Freedom have at Florence Mall. But what did I find? No jerseys, no pennants, no pucks, no T-shirts, no Twister in a Santa hat waving at the kids. Not even the girl at the booth had a Cyclone Jersey on. Only schedules and flyers for the Cyclones and Jungle Kats.
Whats going on?
We stopped by USBA for the announced Jungle Kat open house last night, and there was no one there. Dark. I even double checked the press release. Yep Dec 5, USBA, 6-8:30pm. It was 7:00pm, but the place was abandoned without even a note on the door.
Whats the point of having a kiosk if you are not going to sell merchandise to the shopping crowd. Selling a couple of jerseys would probably pay for the kiosk.

| You may want to contact your ticket sales rep to complain about this. I don't remember reading anything in the paper about this open house. |
Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.

Got my answer from my ticket rep.
Jungle Kat open house posponed because Ken Griffey Jr was called out of town for this week. He said that they have tentatively scheduled it for Mid-January. I pointed out that I hoped Sam Adams would be busy mid-January, but we will see.
As for the Kenwood kiosk, he said the contract doesnt allow them to have merchandise at the Kenwood Mall, but Florence Mall has everything except jerseys.
He thought there was an ECHL rule about jerseys, but he said they are out of jerseys anyway. They sold more in 7 games than they figured they would sell in a half season. More are on the way.
Sounds good. I was worried there a bit. |

| You can buy the new red (away) jerseys on the ECHL online shop from Rivert City Sports ... I just noticed today that they were finally avilable. |
