Welp, as I'm sure you all saw, the Bengals dropped a one-point very pivotal game to Denver on Christmas Eve, thanks in part to a BOTCHED SNAP on the EXTRA POINT to tie the game. That means even if Denver drops their last game to the 49ers (which isn't even likely to begin with), they have the tiebreaker locked with their win over Cincinnati. The one positive thing that could have happened would have been the Dolphins beating NYJ tonight ... and the Jets have won 13-10.
Our only wildcard hope?
A win over Pittsburgh in this final week and a Jets loss to the 2-13 Raiders.
I have not been that angry over a Bengals game since the game they blew to the Cardinals in Marvin Lewis' first season. They didnt even deserve the chance to tie
There is one more option than the one I said, which would be a Denver loss (to SF), a Kansas City win (over Jacksonville), and of course we would actually have to win our game over Pittsburgh.
