Just wait he will sign some of those boys again when the call ups start again. If there is room on the bench why not keep them here I wonder?

You keep them on the roster you have to pay them on a daily basis rather than a game by game basis.

Skalde brought this up at the coach's show. Since the Cyclones don't play again until Friday and Knoxville has games this week, those guys were released so they could return to Knoxville to play. While I agree it would be good to have them here going through the motions with the Cyclones since there's a good chance they'll be called back up, I also understand the logic of sending them back and keeping the relationship with Knoxville healthy.

Those are some good and valid points. However, wouldn't it be beneficial to the players and the team if they were to stay here and practice, learn the system and assimilate into the team as a whole? |

@Reggie I agree completely. However, there's nothing that requires Knoxville to let their players come when called, outside of recruiting suicide, so it's not bad form to keep the Knoxville organization content. Skalde also has more info than we do regarding the return of players. As we have seen, we received Cahill and Hazen in the last day or 2. If it looks like we'll need them rolling into the weekend I wouldn't mind seeing the Knoxville guys come back and practice after their game Tuesday night.
