Dejardins won it the first week of the season with the big shutout against Toledo, they probably just wanted to mix it up and put another solid name out there. No big deal.
Cedric deserves it. What more can he do? Did he need to play on Saturday too and put up a shutout? "Goaltender of the week" implies "best performance for the whole week". How was Cedric not the best performing goalie last week?

Thanks, Degray, that's what I was thinking. I know he already won once like CH said, but he did also put up a shutout this week. Several impressive performances.
I dont think the past weeks should have anything to do with who wins the following week. Cedrick been playing great. I say forget the goalie of the week, lets shoot for goalie of the month. :P
maybe if cedric would have scored a goal during that second game against johnstown that would have put him over the top. since he keeps putting up shut-outs maybe the people that vote are looking for him to go that extra distance.
