He has played well when healthy for Lake Erie (Cleveland) this season.

Desjardins has put in his time in the American Hockey League and there really isn't much more he can prove at that level. It wouldn't surprise me to see Colorado trade Giguere, who is set to be an UFA this summer, before the deadline to a team looking to upgrade or add goaltending depth like Chicago and Detroit, and give Desjardins an opportunity to show what he can do over the last month of the season.

I agree. He could be an upgrade and certainly would add depth.
