CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have signed forward Ron Cramer. In a separate transaction, the Florida Panthers have reassigned defenseman Keith Seabrook to the club from the San Antonio Rampage. To make room on the roster, the Cyclones have released forward Darick St. Marie.

Cramer, a five-foot-eleven inch forward, will make his professional debut with the Cyclones after completing a four-year career at Robert Morris University. In 135 collegiate games, the New Wilmington, Pennsylvania native collected 60 points (21 goals, 39 assists) and 263 penalty minutes. He was the team-leader in penalty minutes in each of his four years on campus. Cramer was also named to the CHA All-Tournament Team after the 2009-10 season and scored the team’s first goal in the CHA championship game on March 14, 2009.

Seabrook, a Florida Panthers prospect, returns to Cincinnati for the third time this season. However, he has spent the bulk of the 2011-12 season in the American Hockey League with the San Antonio Rampage. At the Triple-A level this year, the third-year defenseman has posted 13 points (3 goals, 10 assists) in 45 games. With the Cyclones, Seabrook has logged four games on the ice while registering a single assist. After a game played tonight, he will be eligible to make the Cyclones playoff roster.

Both players are expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Cyclones finally return to U.S. Bank Arena to face the Chicago Express at 7:30pm. It will be the final Wet Wednesday of the season, featuring $1 PBR and Miller High Life. In addition, a pre-game Pucks N Pinot wine tasting event will be available for purchase. Secure your seats now by calling 513.421.PUCK or log on to CyclonesHockey.com. Fans can also get the latest team updates throughout the season on Facebook and Twitter (@CincyCyclones).

Seabrook will be a great addition assuming they make the playoffs.

Glad to see Seabrook will be playoff eligible. This Cramer might be a good signing. He may add some more grit to the forward lines. I'm sorry to see Ste. Marie go. He added some quickness to the team. Maybe we'll see him again before season's end.
