The Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Fame posted this Sunday on their Facebook page:

ON THIS DATE in 1981 - The Tigers nip the Stars in Oklahoma City by a score of 5-4 in overtime. Cincinnati's Ken Kuzyk flipped a 40-foot wrist shot past partially-screened goalie Jim Warden at 1:10 to get the win.

It never happened as they described it on that date in 1981. Ken Kuzyk never played for the Tigers and the goalie for OKC, Jim Warden, was out of pro hockey that season.

At least we know the post wasn't written by Dickie Dunn. If he had written it, it would have been true.
