In the last four games we have given up an average of 37 shots per game. In the last seven games the average has been 34.3 shots per game. In the seven games before that the average was 24.8 almost ten shots less a game. Not sure what this is due to but not a good trend.
The current worst team in the league is Bakersfield and they are giving up and average of 37 shots a game. As it turns out the next three worst teams a Fort Wayne, K-Zoo, and Evansville all averaging giving up about 33 shots a game.
By the way--Bengals play at 4:30 this Saturday and game with Fort Wayne is at 7:35. Think the team could delay the start till say 8 or 8:30 or at least have the game on the score board and delay the start until it is over? ( Hopefully no overtime_ |

| I don't see the management delaying the our game for theirs! I'm sure the PA guy will announce the scores. |

| It will be a late arriving crowd Saturday, unless Marvin comes with another conservative, unchanging loser game plan in the playoffs and the Bengals are down 20+ in the 3rd. Hopefully that's not the case. The throwback jerseys this year look great! |

| That's an interesting statistic. One thing that could be contributing to that is the loss of Hotham. He seemed to block a fair amount of shots and covered a good amount of space in the defensive zone. Obviously, that wouldn't account for all of the additional shots. Another factor could be where the shots are coming from, near the crease or from above the circles. The Cyclone seem to be a little less physical than they were at the start of the year. And they sure as heck haven't backchecked as well recently. I hope they can remedy that stat. It puts a lot of strain on the goaltenders. |

| I thought the Bengals played in Houston at 4:30. Their season should be done by the end of the first period. |

Thank goodness. That would've been a mess. |

Plus wouldn't it have to come from the echl to change the time? I don't think usbank has any control over the start time. And I don't think the ECHL cares about the Bengals playoff game.

The last few games they have played with 5 D-men and have been less aggressive, likely trying to be conservative and avoid penalty/injury. This along with the loss of Hotham probably accounts for some of it.
Why have we played multiple games short on Dmen with a lockout still going on? I have no answer to that. Surely there is a Dman that has been a healthy scratch at one of the affiliates during that time. Right?

Was there ever any doubt that they would lose? |
