is a penalty shot !

Great game and 4-1 is so misleading. This was a 2-1 game until it looked
like Kalamazoo thought a penalty on us was coming and stopped playing on
the Short Handed. Empty netters are just a crap shoot. Sometimes you hit
and sometimes it costs you. Down two goals what do you have to lose.
Hate to mess with success but would like to see clear one-one rotation of
the two goalies while they both are here. |

| Team only dressed 14 non goalies last night. McClellan was called up and don't know what happened to Ellington. They were left with 9 forwards and five defensemen. Hopefully they get someone back today from AHL or IR |

| With 2 capable goalies a rotation makes sense, especially this time of year. IT keeps both guys fresh and game ready. This has never been Skalde's M.O. He like playing the hot keeper until he cools off then each guy gets more ice time until one gets hot and goes on a run. It's not ideal in my opinion but it's working so I'm not going to second guess it. |
