Lots of interesting story lines for tonight's game... 1. TOL loses Randy Rowe and Ben Youds but picks up Nastrasil 2. CIN picks up Garrett Wilson 3. The Blade suggests a possible goalie change for TOL 4. Vitucci admits his team lost focus and was just running around hitting people. He says he needs to curb that, but the rub is how to do that without losing his team's intensity. 5. TOL has their backs against the wall and need to go on the road to stay alive. 6. Who would have thought that Aubin, Pelech, and O'Hanley would be without points at this juncture? Any of them could break out huge tonight. 7. Houser has held up really well to the surprise of some. Can he finish out the series the way he started? 8. CIN fans finally get to see some playoff hockey.

| Am interested in seeing the attendance tonight. With the price increase, mid week game, and inability to do group and advance selling it might not top 4000. Minor league playoff hockey is always that way. |

| factor in the nice weather, and you should see numbers drop slightly tonight. I admit I cannot go, however my guess with a win tonight and hoping to wrap up the first round on Friday and you could see the weekend's games attendance numbers to be >6000+, Maybe more......unless of course there is a high school track or swim meet somewhere. |

Attendance last night was 1663 which has to be at or near the lowest of the year. Minor league hockey playoff attendance woes continue as LV had 2397, Elmira 1765, GV 1743, and SC 1396. Hopefully will get between 3-4K Friday.
In the past each round has improved and the finals have had big crowds when sports fans in general come out. Right now it is only true cyclone fans without corporate sales, group sales etc etc. Shows what a nice job the front office did in generating the average 4500 for the year which is almost double what it was during the first Cup year |

Another thing to note with attendance numbers is that many teams report tickets out rather than butts in the seats. In the regular season, you see many teams giving away tickets which go unused and leads to inflated attendance numbers (the Cyclones do not appear to be one of those teams). Becuase there is a league mandated ticket charge on playoff tickets ($2 or $3), you do not see that in the playoffs. Consequently, many teams report lower attendance numbers with the same number of people in the building.
By the way, the smallest crowds of the regular season:
Date Opponent Att 10/31/2012 Kalamazoo 1599 12/5/2012 Evansville 1643 11/28/2012 Evansville 1838 2/26/2013 Trenton 2036 1/15/2013 Elmira 2043
