| Florida, I want home ice and I'd rather face their goaltenders. |

| I was thinking Florida as well, Reading just might take that historic 3 games to none comeback we put on them in 2010 personally. |

Strictly from a statistical standpoint, I would also prefer to play Florida. They score more goals and give up more goals than Reading. I have more faith in the Clones defense than offense, so I think they would be a better matchup. A bit off topic, but did anyone expect that the Pacan, Embach, Lewis line would be the dominant line in the playoffs? That line is carrying the team and shows no signs of slowing down. |

We were 0-3 against Reading and 1-4 against Florida so not much difference there. Reading has played all year except the stretch they were bringing in a new goalie a week for tryouts. Riley Gill has been super as has the other goalie whose name escapes me who has been in the AHL half the year. Both goalies had two shutouts in the first series against Greenville.
Florida has more scoring power but would prefer to play them. As you can see from the playoffs, home ice isn't that big a deal EXCEPT for game sevens and I would prefer to play a game seven at USBA than in Reading
King--to you comments on the Pacan Lewis Embach line I totally agree. Not only in the offensive zone but they have been playing great D all over the ice. |

Both teams make me nervous and, as pointed out above, the Cyclone don't have a very impressive record against both potential opponents. I guess I'd prefer to play Florida since they appear to be more vulnerable defensively. However, when I saw them play here a couple of months ago, they appeared fast and physical, and won a lot of board battles. Reading has been consistently solid this season and appears to be the real deal. Either way, the Cyclone will have their hands full.
On another note, did any of you notice that Aubin was playing like a man possessed last night? He was even getting physical. He was a shooting machine, too, especially on the power play. It was great to see. His offense will be necessary this round. |

On a note to that-did anyone notice how fatigued Howser looked at times last night. Don't get me wrong, he's been our MVP for the last two months but each round gets a little tougher and game 4 would have been a perfect chance to get him some rest and Foster some work. Even Cedrich had to be bailed out once in the 2008 semi-finals. |

Hard to really judge much off season records with such a small sample size. Both teams are made up much differently than they were during those games. Last time we played them we had J.T. MacDonald, Tyler Fernandez, Jeremy Tucker, Chris Kaleta, and Peter Child playing. MacDonald is the only guy out of that list that saw more than 8 games with the team. I think it is definitely a tough match-up. They are a very good team. I expect a 6 or 7 game series. |

That's good to hear. I think that our overall offense seems to be getting stronger as the playoffs go along. Aubin, Pelech, Wilson, and Eves all have capacity to step up their games and score more. Here are a couple of stats for you..... In the playoffs, looks like Reading seems to be doing to their opponents what we did to Gwinnett...shutting down shots on goal to keep the score down. Reading is allowing less than 23 SOG in their playoff games while the Clones are averaging about 34 shots per game. This series is going to be low scoring but I like the moxie of the Clones and believe they can win.

| Reading cannot be any tougher than Gwinnett or Toledo, The east in my opinion is by far the strongest conference and anyone in it has a shot. I think the first two game away will be telling. |

Its going to be a Goaltender's series. The teams are pretty even and play a similar game.
Along with home ice I think Reading has a *slight* advantage and if someone put a gun to my head and forced me to bet my paycheck I'd take the Royals. But otherwise I wouldn't bet anything on this series.

| I have always heard that you can place bet on just about everything, so I did some searching and found a site that listed the game with numbers like +100 and +117. I have no idea what any of that means, but I think this series comes down to a u pick em. |
