| Just saw on ECHL Weekly video that beginning with the conference finals the league will use a 2-ref system like the AHL and NHL. Not sure I like this change after an entire season of one ref games. At least the refs assigned all have had experience with it in AHL games but still I think the tendency is for them to call a much closer game. Its the players who really need to adjust and tone stupid things down. Can't remember if this was used in our two cup years. Anyone else remember or have comments on a change like this in the middle of playoffs? |
