I heard the call from Brunker on the radio where Reading clanked a crossbar in overtime and apparently the Royals felt it went in. The Reading Facebook page has the Royals "getting robbed" was it that close or even questionable?
I was sitting behind the Cyclones goal during OT and from where I sat it clearly bounced off the post without going in. The Royals players were not reacting like they thought it went in either.

Did anyone else see the Reading player get his arm caught underneath the glass after being hit into the boards? Looked like a few really painful moments in that guys life. Two fans lifted the glass a few inches so he could escape. Good to see he wasnt hurt badly.
I had a pretty good view of that "disputed" goal and it appeared to clank off the crossbar pretty crisply. It didn't seem like the Royal protested too much, so I don't think anyone got robbed.
I also saw the guy get caught in the glass. That could have been bad had the puck been played toward him while he was stuck and a Cyclone player put a hit on him. Give credit to the officials for stopping play as soon as it came to their attention.
The glass came loose and he got caught!? How the hell did that happen?
I'm not sure how he got caught in there. From my vantage point, it appeared that it was his sweater that got caught, I couldn't tell if it was actually a limb.
There have been some strange things with the rink during the playoffs. There have been several stoppages for glass repairs/replacement. Also, the goal & timeout lights behind both goals have a short in them or something because every time there is a check or a battle behind the net, the light flashes on red or green.
I sit over there in section 120, and it was an arm.
The glass popped out when he hit and when it did, the force from his hit lifted the glass enough for his arm to slip under the glass as it raised just slightly and then his arm was trapped as the glass raised no further.
He was in some serious pain with the full weight of the glass on his upper arm.
Kudos to the two fans who realized it quickly and jumped up to help. One of the fans that helped got hit with the rubber? piece between the glass (not really sure what the grey piece between the glass sections is made of). But as soon as he realized the player was hurting, he jumped right up.
After reading mec's post about the player, I will say that the fans are very good about seeing things go wrong & reacting. I can't imagine how horrible that pain was. Hopefully that player is ok.
